Method
  1. Soak chanadal for one hour and boil in enough water till it is soft.
  2. Drain excess water and dry this dal on a cotton cloth for one hour.
  3. Grind the above dal to a fine powder in a mixer.
  4. Grind Sugar.
  5. Grate or grind jaggery.
  6. Add sugar, jaggery and cardamom powder in the chanadal powder and mix well.
  7. Seive maida and wheat flour together.
  8. Add 2 table spoons of oil and mix well .
  9. Then add enough water and make soft dough and keep it aside covered with a wet cloth.
  10. Make big lemon sized balls of the chanadal mixture and keep.
  11. Take big lemon sized dough and stuff one chanadal ball in it and make a paratha of it using dry atta or maida.
  12. Now shallow fry on a tawa using oil all over the paratha.
  13. Apply one teaspoon of ghee all over the paratha just before eating.

2 cups - maida
1 cup - chanadal
1 cup - wheat flour
1/2 cup - (gud) jaggery
1/2 cup - sugar
1 tsp - cardamom powder
oil - for preparing bobbatlu
2 tbsp - oil
