Method
- Cut the jackfruit into small pieces.
- Pressure cook it along with moongdal for about 10 mts after three whistles.
- Once it depressurises smash the cooked jackfruit pieces and moongdal well.
- In a kadai put 1 1/2 cup jaggery and very little water.
- When it boils strain it and remove the dirt.
- Put the jaggerry syrup in the kadai and let it boil.
- Then add the smashed dal and jackfruit pieces.
- Stir it well with a spatula.
- When it starts becoming thick, add the one tin coconut milk mixed with
1/2 cup cold water to it.
- Let it boil, then remove from flame and add the other 1 tin coconut milk to
it.
- Add 1tsp ghee to the pradhaman, serve hot or chilled.

pitted jackfruit - 15
jaggery - 1 1/2 cup
moong dal - 1/2 cup
coconut milk - 2 medium size tins
