Arbi, carrots and spinach tikkies

Method
  1. Boil the arbi till tender. Cool and peel to remove the skin. Grate finely and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix with your fingers. Also add 1 tbsp. oil. Shape into round or elongated tikkies.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying and fry the tikkies in hot oil, a few tikkies at a time till crispy and golden brown.
  4. Wrap in a foil to keep warm. Enjoy these tikkies when you halt midway while travelling. Clubbed with a sandwich these can serve as a full meal.
Ingredients:
200 gms arbi
100 gms grated carrots
100 gms fresh spinach leaves, finely chopped
3 tbsp gramflour, besan
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp roasted jeera powder
1-2 tsp lemon juice - as per taste
1 tbsp oil
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
