Plantain Cutlet (Raw Banana Cutlet)

Method
  1. Boil plantain, peel the skin, smash it and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil, add chopped onion and stir a while.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry it for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Add smash plantain into it. Fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from fire, add grated chillies, grated mint leaves, garama masala powder, corn flour and salt to taste.
  6. Divide the smash mixture into equal portion and shape into flattened round or oval.
  7. Coat with semolina.
  8. Shallow fry it till golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with lachha onion and green chutney.
Ingredients:
plantain (raw banana) - 4 nos
onion - 2 nos (big size)
ginger and garlic paste - 2 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
garama masala powder - 1 tsp
green chillies - 2 to 4 nos
grated coriander leaves - 2 tsp
cron flour - 2 tbsp
semolina - 4 tbsp
salt to taste
oil for fry
