Method
  1. Boil the chanas and dal together.Strain the water out and then coarsly grind it.
  2. In this paste add all the other ingredients and make a dough of it.Make small balls and deep fry them.
  3. As an when required.Alternatively it can also be toasted on the toaster with a little oil for greasing.
  4. Also the tikka can be made out of the same dough.
  5. For this add little corn flour and make the tikka,this option is suitable to healthy eaters.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg black chana ( soaked overnight )
200 gms whole masoor dal ( soaked overnight)
1 medium sized onion( finely chopped)
2 tsp of ginger and garlic paste
small peice of cinnamom grounded( powder can also be used)
2 medium size green chilli( finely chopped)
10 gms of corriander seeds
green fresh corriander( finely chopped)
pinch of garam masala
salt to taste
2 slices of bread
