Method
  1. Take suji in a bowl add salt, green chilly, ginger paste, yellow powder, sugar mix well .
  2. In a big container pour 2 to 3 glasses of water and let it boil.
  3. By the time water boils add dahi or yogurt in the suji and mix well, the batter should be like idli batter.
  4. After water boils add eno salt in the batter and mix well .
  5. Pour this batter into greased flat plate and immediately put into the container and cover it.
  6. After 15 minutes remove the plate from the container and let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. For seasoning take oil in a small kadhai pour oil add mustard seeds, redchillies, sesame seeds and hing.
  8. Let mustard seeds split then pour the oil onto the dhokla, decorate with coriender leaves then cut into square cubes.
  9. If anybody likes, fry green chillies and decorate.
Ingredients:
suji or semovita - 1 tea cup
green chilly and ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
yogurt or dahi - 1 cup
eno salt - 1 teaspoon
sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
oil for seasoning - 2 table spoons
red chillies - 6 or 7
coriender leaves - a little
asafoetida or hing - very little
salt to taste
