Method
- Wash, halve carrots.
- Put in a microwave proof bowl.
- Add lemon grass stalk, roughly chopped.
- Add tomato, apple, microwave for 1 minute on high.
- Remove, allow to cool, covered, to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for some time, or till required.
To Make Combo:
- Run microwaved mixture in an electric blender till very smooth.
- Add 800 ml. chilled water, lemon juice, sugar, salt.
- Strain with a plastic strainer, chill.
- Put ginger in a muslin cloth, twist to a pouch.
- Rub this into a small bowl with 20 ml. water.
- Squeeze this ginger concentrate into juice.
- Add other herbs, run again in mixie till herbs are crushed.
- Pour into glasses serve chilled.
