Method

  1. First mix all ingredients with little hot water and little hot oil. You can add more water to make it dough.

  2. Now on a Polythene sheet put little oil and spread it throughout the sheet.

  3. Make the dough into small rounds and press them on the Polythene sheet like papad.

  4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry these appams till they become red.

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 2 cups
Salt - according to your taste
Red Chilli powder - according to your taste
Ginger & Garlic paste-1 tea spoon
Sesame seeds -1 tbsp
Chena Dal (soaked) - 3 tbsp
Jeera- 1 tea spoon
Asafoetida-1 pinch
