Puff with Chole & Paneer Stuffing

Method
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan adds the cut onions and fry it until golden brown.
  2. Now add chili –ginger and garlic paste and fry for more 1 min.
  3. Now add dry masala, salt, sugar and lemon juice.
  4. Fry for few mins.
  5. Now add chole crumble, mix well and cook for 3-4 mins.
  6. Add paneer and coriander leaves and cook for more mins.
  7. Then let stuffing cool down for few mins.
  8. Take puffs pastry sheets.
  9. Roll them a little with the rolling pin.
  10. Cut them in square pieces (of size approximately 4 X 4 inches).
  11. Place the stuffing on one half of the sheet.
  12. Fold the other remaining half of sheet on the stuffing.
  13. Press the two ends on each other with a small amount of water.
  14. Make all such puffs with stuffing.
  15. Place in the oven at 400 F degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or till light brown & crispy.
Ingredients:
1 can - chole rinse and crumbled
1 cup - crumbled paneer
½ cup - chopped onion
1 tbsp - chili-ginger paste
1 tsp - garlic paste
2 tsp - channa masala powder
1 tsp - sugar
2 tsp - lemon juice
2 tbsp - coriander chopped
2 tsp - oil
2 - frozen pastry sheet or puff sheet (from freezer section in grocery store)
salt to taste
