Method
  1. Peel the yam and rinse in water.
  2. Cut into medium sized square pieces and boil the yam till tender but not mushy.
  3. Mix all the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and apply to the yam pieces.
  4. Put oil in a fry pan and shallow fry the yam.
  5. Serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with onion rings and lemon wedges, with a spinkle of chaat masala. A

Ingredients:
medium sized yam - 1
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
red chilli powder - 1-1 1/2 tsp (add more if desird)
dhania powder - 1 to 2 tsp
haldi powder - 1/4 tsp
salt to taste
juice of half lime
tandoori color 1-2 pinches
oil to fry
