Method
  1. Boil and cool themilk.Beat the curd lightly.Take one slice of bread, dip it intothe milk and immediately squeeze it with
  2. your palms shaping it into around slightly flattened vada.
  3. Place it in a serving plate. Take oneteaspoon of curd and put it on the top of the vada.
  4. Sprinkle one bigpinch of powdered pepper, and little salt on top of it.
  5. Repeat withthe other slices.
  6. Serves four.
Variations :
Sprinkle littlechopped green chillies, chopped ginger, and chopped coriander leavesinstead of pepper and salt.
Garnish with round, thin slice of tomato ontop of it.

bread eight slices
milktwo cups (200ml)
one cup fresh curd (100ml)
powdered black pepper oneteaspoon
salt to taste
