Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Soak and set aside for at least 1 hr for the sago to soften.
  3. The consistancy should be for making Vadas. If its too thick, add more water/buttermilk else add rice flour to thicken it.
  4. Take a small qty and flatten it in your palms and drop it in hot oil for deep fry.
  5. The heat should be med to high. If too hot, the Vadas will brown outside but will remain uncooked inside.
  6. And if too low, it will absorb more oil.
  7. Place it in paper towel for the oil to drain and enjoy.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup - sago/sabudana/javarisi
1/2 cup - rice flour
1 to 2 - green chillies, sliced thinly ( as per taste)
1/4 to 1/2 cup - yogurt
2 to 3 tbsp - dry coconut ( I use dry cos I feel that using fresh ones makes the fritters absorb more oil!)
few strands of cilantro
salt to taste
