Method
- Add chunks and little salt to the boiled water and keep it for 5 minutes.
- Chunks will become extra soft. Squeeze out the water.
- Take a gram flour in a bowl.
- Prepare a thick batter with water by adding chillie powder, salt and soda.
- Add the squeezed chunks to the batter. Heat oil in a kadai.
- You can dip each chunks into the batter and deep fry in hot oil till light golden brown.
- Serve with chutney or sauce of your choice

soya chunks - 20
gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
red chilli powder - 1 tspn
soda bi-carbonate / baking soda - a pinch
oil to fry
salt to taste
