Drumstick and Urad Dal Vada

Method
  1. Wash, scrape & cut drumsticks into 3-inch pieces
  2. Boil with some salt till soft, (but not mushy)
  3. Scoop out the flesh & keep aside.
  4. Grind dal with salt & minimum amount of water to a thick fine paste.
  5. Add all the ingredients except oil, mix well.
  6. Make small round vada & deep fry in hot oil till light golden in colour.
  7. Serve vada hot with any chutney/sauce.
Ingredients:
3 - drumsticks
1 tbsp - channa dal
250 g - dehusked urad dal, soaked for 3 to 4 hours along wih channa dal
green chillies, chopped fine
2 - onion, chopped fine
1 tsp - chopped ginger
2 tsp - chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp - chopped curry leaves
oil for frying
salt
