Date Smoothies with Marie Biscuit

Method
  1. Soak dates for 20 minutes in 2 tbsp. milk.
  2. When very soft, run them, with soaked milk in mixie.
  3. Add biscuits, sugar, essence, half cup milk, run again.
  4. When smooth, add remaining milk, icecream.
  5. Run till smooth and frothy.
  6. Pour into tall glasses, already chilled.
  7. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top, before serving.
  8. Serve chilled.

Ingredients:
5 soft seedless dried dates (or deseed them)
3 marie biscuits, crumbled
2 tbsp. sugar
2 drops almond or pistachio essence
300 ml. chilled whole milk
2 scoops vanilla icecream
1 tsp. soft brown sugar (for topping)
