Method
- Wash and soak dal in water for 1 hour.
- Chop the greens finely.
- Drain the dal from water and grind to affine paste with salt, adding minimum amount of water. (the batter should be stiff)
- Add green chilies and greens to the batter.
- With moist hand, take a lump of batter and plce on apieces of plastic sheet.
- Flatten to adisc and make a hole in the center with your fore finger.
- Slip it into hot oi. Add few more wadas to oil and fry till golden brown.
- Use all the batter thus. Serve hot with dal chutney.

black gram (urad dal) dal - � kg
amarantha leaves - 1 bunch
onion - 1 cup, minced
green chilies - 3 to 4, minced
salt to taste
