Method
- Boil the water with the sugar in a heavy bottomed steel vessel.
- After a boil add milk.
- Spoon off the dirt from the sugar syrup, that collects on the top.
- Once the sugar dissolves completely remove from gas and cool completely.
- Strain and keep aside.
- Remove the juice of the limes.
- Add the ginger to the lime juice.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Remove the ginger pieces from the lime juice.
- Add this lime juice to the sugar syrup and mix well.
- Store in dry sterlised bottles and refrigerate.
To Serve:
- In a glass pour approximately 3 tbsp ginger lime and sufficient water and crushed ice.
- Mix and serve chilled.

12 - big limes
75 gms - ginger (chopped into big pieces)
1 kg - sugar
� litre - water
1 tbsp - milk
