Method
- Place sugar & water in a saucepan & stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat & cool.
- Mix & stir in sugar syrup, lemon rind &lemon juice .
- Now place the sorbet into airtight container and keep in freezer to set.
- Just before serving transfer the sorbet to the blender and churn a little.
- Now Scoop out the sorbet using an ice-cream scooper and serve immediately, garnished with mango slices and mint leaves.
Ingredients:
2cups of mango puree
1/2cup castor sugar or to taste
1/2 cup water
1/2tsp lemon rind
1tsp lemon juice
few mango slices or cherries
