Method
  1. Mash cooked rice well.
  2. Warm it either in the cooker or microwave for ease before mashing.
  3. Add all other ingredients, except breadcrumbs, oil.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan, while making balls from mixture.
  5. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs, let into hot oil.
  6. Deep fry few at a time, till golden and crisp.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup, chutney, etc.

Making time: 30 minutes
Makes: 7-8 pakoras
Shelflife:
Unfried: refrigerated 5-6 hours.
Fried: Best fresh

Ingredients:
2 cups - cooked rice
1/2 tsp - crushed red chillies
2 to 3 - green chillies, chopped finely
2 tbsp - cornflour
2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp - chopped greens of spring onion
2 tbsp - grated cheese
1/2 cup - fine bread crumbs
salt to taste
oil to deep fry
