Method
- Wash, peel and chop the sweet potato into small pieces and set aside.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan, add the chopped sweet potato and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Cover with a lid and let it cook till soft. Stir occasionally.
- Open the lid and fry until light golden color.
- Add the dry coconut powder, red chilli powder and salt and fry for few seconds.
- Turn off the heat and serve with hot steamed rice.
