Method
  1. Wash and dry the rice then rub in 1 tsp ghee.
  2. Bring the milk to a boil; add rice and cook on a slow flame till the rice is very well cooked.
  3. Add sugar and cook till milk reaches a creamy consistency.
  4. Add the powdered cardamom, nutmeg, saffron, almond, pista and raisins.
  5. Simmer for 2 minutes and serve.
  6. It can be eaten hot with puris or cold as a pudding.
Ingredients:
8 cups - milk
4 tbsp - rice
1 tsp - powdered cardamom
1/4 tsp - saffron
1 tbsp - raisins
1/2 cup - sugar or according to taste
1 tsp - ghee
1/2 tsp - nutmeg powder
1 tbsp - blanched & sliced almonds & pistas
