Wholesome Broth with Khakra

Method
  1. Pour flour into a heavy pan.
  2. Dry roast flour stirring continuously, over low fire.
  3. When flour is a light golden brown, and exudes strong aroma, add water.
  4. Stir continuously to avoid lumps and bring to a boil.
  5. Add ghee, salt and simmer till the liquid is slightly thick, like a pouring sauce.
  6. Take in individual bowls, add hot sweetened milk as per taste (approx 1/4-1/2 cup).
  7. Even unsweetend milk may be added if preferred, then add salt as per taste.
  8. Serve hot with crushed khakras, eaten the way cornflakes is in milk.

Makes: 2 servings

Note:
Wheat is a whole grain that rich in fibre and helps circulation

Ingredients:
2 tbsp. wheat flour
1/2 tsp. ghee
Salt to taste
2 cups water
Sweetened hot milk as required
