Spicy Paneer Sticks

  1. Combine the yoghurt, tandoori masala, crushed garlic, ginger paste, turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
  2. Mix well. Gently add the paneer pieces and mix well to coat the paneer.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
  4. Thread paneer pieces and capsicum squares on each wooden skewer.
  5. Barbeque on an electric grill.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney.

Note: Soak around 25 to 30 wooden skewers in cold water for 30 mins to prevent them from burning during cooking.

1 kg. paneer, cut into 1" thick cubes
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 tsp. red chilli powder
½ tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. coriander powder
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. tandoori masala
1 green capsicum, cut into 1 ½ inch inch squares
1 red capsicum, cut into 1 ½ inch squares
Salt to taste
