Beat cream and curds till smooth.
Add all other ingredients.
Mix well, chill for an hour.
Pour over warmed cabbage and onion salad.

Cabbage & Onion Salad
Choose tender green cabbage, and sweet white onions. Shred both coarsely. Warm a little oil, add a pinch of asafoetida and turmeric, add onions and cabbage and stirfry on high till colour brightens.
Add 1/4 tsp. sugar, salt to taste and chopped coriander for garnish.
Just before serving, pour dressing over salad.
Making time: Dressing: 15 minutes. Salad: 10 minutes
Makes: 1 cup dressing.
