Method
  1. Soak the poha for 10 mins.
  2. Wash and drain them.
  3. Soak saffron in 1/2 cup of milk and keep aside.
  4. Add a teaspoon of ghee in a kadai and fry the cashew.
  5. Add the poha to it and fry it for a minute.
  6. Add sugar to it and keep stirring on low flame.
  7. Add the saffron to it and keep stirring for some time until it starts to thicken.
  8. Add the remaining ghee to it and serve.
Ingredients:
2 cups - beaten rice/poha/aval
2 cups - sugar
3-4 - cardamom
Cashew, a few
1 tbsp - ghee
Saffron, a few strands
