Method
- Soak the poha for 10 mins.
- Wash and drain them.
- Soak saffron in 1/2 cup of milk and keep aside.
- Add a teaspoon of ghee in a kadai and fry the cashew.
- Add the poha to it and fry it for a minute.
- Add sugar to it and keep stirring on low flame.
- Add the saffron to it and keep stirring for some time until it starts to thicken.
- Add the remaining ghee to it and serve.
Ingredients:
2 cups - beaten rice/poha/aval
2 cups - sugar
3-4 - cardamom
Cashew, a few
1 tbsp - ghee
Saffron, a few strands
