Rava/Semolina Kesari

Method
  1. Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee in a kadai/pan, fry rava for some 5 minutes. Keep aside.
  2. Add one more teaspoon of ghee and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
  3. Powder elaichi with a little sugar either manually or in a mixie and keep aside.
  4. Now add 2 cups of water in the pan and let it boil till it bubbles, then add rava slowly and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Then add ghee so that it will leave the sides of kadai, now add sugar, colour and essence.
  6. Finally add cashew nuts, raisins and elaichi powder. Serve hot.

Cashew nuts, a small quantity
Raisins, a small quantity
2 - elaichi/cardamom
Orange colour, a pinch
Essence, a drop
