Sweet Puri

  1. In a bowl mix all the flours, banana, jaggery, salt, jeera, saunf, cardamom powder and knead into a dough.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai. Once hot reduce flame.
  3. Roll the dough into puris and deep fry.
  4. Take off the puris on some absorbent paper.
  5. Ready to serve.

Note: These puris are not very sweet. But for those who like to have very sweet puris, increase the quantity of jaggery to 1 cup.

1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup maida
1 big banana (ripe)
1/4 tsp - fennel/Saunf
1/4 tsp - cumin/Jeera - 1/4
Salt to taste
3/4 cup - Jaggery (grated)
1/4 tsp - cardamom powder
Oil for frying
