Method
  1. Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add ground coconut and stir continuously until most of the water has evaporated.
  4. Gradually add ghee and continue to stir until the mixture separates from the pan.
  5. Add cardamom powder. Stir.
  6. Pour into greased pan and level the top with a spatula.
  7. While still warm, cut into pieces.
  8. Allow the barfi to cool before serving.
Ingredients:
2 cups - finely ground fresh coconut
2 cups - sugar
� cup - water
4 tbsps - ghee
1 tsp - cardamom powder
