Method
- Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add the golden syrup, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
- Gradually add the milk and water.
- Mix in the raisins.
- Stir well and spoon into greased patty tins.
- Bake at 190ÂșC for 20-25 mins.

250 ml - milk
175 g - flour
70 g - butter
55 g - sugar
50 ml - water
1 tbsp - golden syrup
3 tsps - baking powder
25 g - raisins
a pinch - salt
