Method
  1. Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add the golden syrup, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Gradually add the milk and water.
  4. Mix in the raisins.
  5. Stir well and spoon into greased patty tins.
  6. Bake at 190ÂșC for 20-25 mins.
Ingredients:
250 ml - milk
175 g - flour
70 g - butter
55 g - sugar
50 ml - water
1 tbsp - golden syrup
3 tsps - baking powder
25 g - raisins
a pinch - salt
