Mix maida or all purpose flour, hing powder, salt, chilli powder, soda bicard in a large bowl.
Add enough water to bind to a soft dough.
Knead the dough well for five minutes.
Divide the dough in to eight portions.
Roll out each portion into a round shape(Like medium size roti)
Now, take a knife and cut it into small diamond shape.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Drop the pieces in to the oil and fry till golden brown in color. (crispy)
Drain and preserve it in clean dry air tight jar.
Sweet Biscuits
Mix maida or all purpose flour, salt, sodabicarb in a large bowl.
Follow the above steps from 2-8.
Take a non-stick pan. Add sugar and water and start heating it.
Keep stirring on high heat till the mixture becomes sticky.
Now, switch off the heat and drop all the biscuits into this syrup and mix it well.
Leave it in the pan, till the biscuits absorbs all the syrup.
Preserve it in clean dry airtight jar.
This evening snack very well goes with tea or coffee. Enjoy!

A pinch of soda bicarb
