Method
  1. Mix curd, maida, saffron and yeast with a little oil to make a batter.
  2. Allow it tostay for several hours till it rises.
  3. Boil sugar to get a thick two-strand syrup.
  4. Keep it in warm water on a stove.
  5. Fill the batter into a squeeze bottle.
  6. Squeeze into jalebis in hot oil.
  7. Drain quickly.
  8. Dip in syrup for 2 minutes.
  9. Drain and cool.
Ingredients:
1 cup - white flour
1 cup - water
1/2 cup - sugar
2 tbsp - yoghurt or dahi
a pinch - salt
a little oil
1/2 tsp - yeast
a few strands - saffron
oil for frying
