Soak rice for about 1 hr and dry it in a towel. Take it before it is too dry (little wet) and grind it into a fine powder. Giving about 2 cups of rice flour. You can try rice flour from the stores but since this needs to be little moist, if rice flour is too dry it might not give best results.
Mix rice flour with butter and knead into a soft dough like a chappati dough. Do not add water. Make small rounds little thick not too flat and press it gently.
Spread the powdered sugar in a plate and keep it ready.
Deep fry these badushah in oil, and dip them lightly on both sides in the powdered sugar when they are hot.
For decoration press in a cherry in the centre of each ball and place it in a plate, ready to serve or store it in a air tight container.
These badushah will be flaky, fast and not too sweet. Enjoy this sweet for a festival, or for a guest or just for your own sweet mood.
