Method
  1. Blend rice flour with � cup cold milk till smooth. Boil remaining milk.
  2. Remove from fire and add blended rice flour. Simmer on low fire till quite thick.
  3. Add sugar and cook for a few minutes more. Pour into individual glass bowls.
  4. Crush cardamom seeds coarsely and sprinkle over phirnee. Chill till cold and set.
  5. Cut nuts into long thin slivers.
  6. Before serving garnish with nuts and silver leaf.
Ingredients:
400 ml - milk
100 g - sugar
50 g - rice flour
4 to 5 - green cardamoms
nuts for garnishing (almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts)
silver leaf
