Tandoori Paneer

Method
  1. Boil water in a pan and immerse the paneer such that the paneer is covered completely with water.
  2. When the water starts boiling again, remove pan from heat and set aside for 30 mins and drain.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for Marinade I and mix the paneer into it.
  4. Set aside for 30 mins and drain.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients for Marinade II.
  6. Mix the paneer into this and set aside for 3 hours.
  7. Apply oil on the skewers and skewer the paneer cubes.
  8. Grill the paneer in a tandoor for 8-10 mins.
  9. Sprinkle chaat masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
500 gms - paneer (cottage cheese), cut into 1 1/2� cubes

Marinade I:
2 tbsp - lemon juice
1 tsp - red chilli powder
1 tsp - salt

Marinade II:
2 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
1 tsp - green chilli paste
1 tsp - ajwain seeds (carum seeds)
3 tbsp - fresh coriander leaves, chopped
� tsp - caraway seeds
2 tbsp - roasted gram flour
5 tbsp - yoghurt
oil for basting
chaat masala for garnish
coriander leaves
chopped for garnish
salt to taste
