Dal Kofta

Method
  1. Make a thick paste of the soaked dal.
  2. Add salt as per taste, the mixture of coriander leaves, mint spring leaves and 1 tsp. of hot oil.
  3. Mix well and make small balls and deep fry it.
  4. Take another pan and add 2 to 3 tbsps. of oil.
  5. Add the onion paste and fry it till it turns brown.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste.
  7. When the mixture turns brown add crushed tomatoes.
  8. Add all the spices, salt as per taste.
  9. When the bubbles start forming add the kofta paste and cream and let it cook.
  10. Then add 2 cups of water and let it cook.
  11. Add fried koftas.
  12. Let the koftas cook for 2min.
  13. Enjoy with rice.
Ingredients:
For the kofta:
1 bowl mixture of soaked urad dal, yellow moong dal, chaana dal, tuvar dal
1 small bowl mixture of coriander leaves, spring onions, mint leaves
1 tsp. hot oil
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying

For the gravy:
1 onion
2 tomatoes
1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp. paste of Kofta
1 tbsp of cream
1/2 tbsp. of red chilli powder
1 tbsp. of dhania powder
1 tbsp. of roasted saunf, dhania, jeera powder
1/2 tsp.turmeric powder
Oil for cooking
