Drumstick fry

Method
  1. Boil drumsticks in just enough water with salt and haldi till soft (not mashed).
  2. Drain water; keep aside.
  3. Heat oil, add onion, green chilli pieces and crushed garlic and a little salt.
  4. Fry till onion becomes soft and pink.
  5. Add dhania powder, red chilli powder and drumsticks and mix well.
  6. Cook for 2 min under sim.
  7. Sprinkle coconut powder, til powder and chopped coriander.
  8. Mix well and fry for 1 or 2 min till the curry becomes dry.
  9. Serve this with rice as side dish.
Ingredients:
4 - drumsticks (lightly scrapped and cut into 3 to 4 inch pieces or about 20 in number)
2 - onions, cut into small pieces
2 - green chillies, cut into small pieces
1 tsp - red chilli powder
1/8 tsp - turmeric powder
Salt
2 tbsp - oil
6-8 cloves - garlic, peeled, crushed roughly
1 tbsp - white til, dry fried and powdered
1 tbsp - dessicated coconut powder
1/2 tbsp - coriander powder (dry fried and powdered)
2 tsp - chopped coriander leaves
