Mixed vegetables with nuts

  1. Melt butter in a thick pan and add chopped garlic and onion.
  2. When cooked (not brown), add the vegetables, salt, pepper, soya sauce and lemon juice.
  3. Cover and cook till the vegetables are tender.
  4. Now make the flour in to a paste and add along with tomato sauce and cream.
  5. Bring to boil stirring continuously, add fried chopped nuts.
  6. Remove from heat. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.

1 carrot, cut into cubes
1 cup green peas
1/2 cup cream
1 cup cauliflower cut in to same size as the carrots
2 capsicums cut in to square
1/2 chopped almond and cashew nuts
1 tbsp butter
1 onion chopped finely
2-3 cloves garlic chopped finely
1 tbsp tomato sauce
Juice of half a lemon
A pinch of sugar
1 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp corn flour or mixed -grain atta
