Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onion and green chilli.
  2. When the onion is cooked (not brown), add the karelas along with salt, chilli powder and turmeric.
  3. Cover and cook over a slow fire till the vegetable is soft.
  4. Then add the peanut and coconut; stir and cook covered for a minute.
  5. Serve with chapatti or rice.
Ingredients:
2 karelas washed and chopped finely
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp grated fresh coconut
1 tbsp roasted crushed peanut
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
