Method
Heat oil. Add onions and mushrooms.
Fry until mushrooms have turned brown in colour.
Add powdered loomi, salt to taste, potatoes and enough water to cook the potatoes.
Cook until the gravy is thick.
Add pepper and chopped coriander.
Serve as a dish with saffron flavoured rice.

1 kg. baby new potatoes, halved
4 cups fresh button mushrooms
2 large onions, chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp. crushed peppercorns
5-6 tbsp. loomi (dried lime) powdered
1 cup fresh coriander leaves
Water
Oil as required
