Chocolate-Walnut Rolls

Method
For Biscuit Layer:
  1. Mix all ingredients, spread out on a thick greased plastic sheet.
  2. Pat to a thick layer, well pressed.
  3. Keep refrigerated till required.

For Inner Layer:

  1. Melt butter, chocolate in a heavy pan, on low heat.
  2. When melted, add condensed milk, mix, stir continuously.
  3. Add milk powder, cocoa, mix well till lumpless.
  4. Take off fire, add all walnuts, mix again.
  5. Cool a bit, spread out carefully on biscuit layer.
  6. Using the sheet to apply pressure, press into a cylinder.
  7. The rolled product will look like a swiss roll.
  8. Roll this in walnut powder.
  9. Chill, cut into 1/2” thick slices.
  10. Store in airtight container.

Making time: 30 minutes
Makes: 20 slices approx
Shelflife: 2-3 days

Ingredients:
For Biscuit Layer:
400 gms - marie biscuits, crushed coarsely
100 gms - walnuts, crushed
2 tbsp - butter melted
1/2 cup - sugar, powdered
2 or 3 drops - vanilla essence

For Inner Layer:
1 slab - cadbury’s milk chocolate
1/2 cup - whole milk powder
1/2 cup - walnuts, crushed coarsely
1/2 can - condensed milk
1/4 cup - cocoa powder
2 tbsp - butter

For Coating:
1 cup - walnut powder
