Cream of carrot soup

Method
  1. Cook chopped carrots with 1/2 a cup of water, until it becomes soft; allow it to cool.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add onions, garlic with a pinch of salt and saute for few minutes, then add tomato and saute till it becomes mushy.
  3. Now add cooked carrots and onion tomato mixture to a blender and grind it to a smooth paste.
  4. Heat a pan, add butter and the ground mixture; fry for a minute or two.
  5. Now add milk, pepper powder, garam masala powder, required salt and bring it to a short boil.
  6. Switch off and garnish with cream.
  7. Serve hot or warm with garlic bread or soup sticks.

Ingredients:
2 - carrots, medium sized (roughly chopped)
1/4 cup - milk
1/2 cup - water
1/2 medium sized - onion, finely chopped
4 pearls - garlic
1/2 - tomato
1/2 tsp - pepper powder
Garam masala powder, a generous pinch
1 tsp - oil
1/2 tsp - butter
2 tsp - cream (for garnishing)
Salt as required
A few bread slices, cubed in small sizes (toasted)
