Date 'n' Walnut Fudge

Method
  1. Place cocoa, butter, sugar in a nonstick pan.
  2. Dissolve on low flame, gently stirring with spatula.
  3. Take off gas, add all other ingredients.
  4. Mix gently, set in a tray, cut into pieces.
  5. Cool enough to be able to lift off pieces neatly.
  6. Remove by loosening with a metal spatula from the base.
  7. Store between sheets of greaseproof paper in airtight container.

Making time: 20 minutes
Makes: 450 gms. approx
Shelflife: Room temperature 4 days
Refrigerated: 1 month

Ingredients:
100 gms - soft black dates
1 cup - walnuts, crushed coarsely
100 gms - milk powder
2 tbsp - cocoa powder
1/2 tin - condensed milk
