Bread-Potato Bonda

Method
  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and add finely chopped onions, coriander, chillies, and all other ingredients with salt.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Make small balls of it in oval shape.
  4. Soak a bread slice in water. Press the bread slice in hand so that water is drained.
  5. Keep the potato ball in the middle and cover the bread on the edges and make it into oval shape.
  6. Make sure the potato stuffing is completely covered by bread.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry this till turns golden brown.
  8. Serve this Bread-Potato bonda with Tomato ketchup or green chutney.
Ingredients:
4 - slices of bread
2 - medium sized boiled potatoes
1/2 - onion finely chopped
2 - chillies finely chopped
1/2 tsp - coriander seeds
1/2 tsp - coriander powder
1/2 tsp - kasoori methi
1/4 tsp - jeera powder
1/4 tsp - Garam masala
salt to taste
Oil for frying
