Method
  1. Cut each slice of bread into 4 pieces. Churn the curds well with gram flour and water.
  2. Keep this aside. Heat oil in a kadhai or a heavy bottom vessel.
  3. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  4. When they splutter, add asafoetida powder, green chillies and curry leaves.
  5. Fry for a minute. Add the kept aside churned curds.
  6. Lets this boil to a boiling point, stirring at regular intervals.
  7. When this reaches a boiling point, put the pieces of bread in it. Mix well.
  8. Let the bread soak up the curds well.
  9. When the bread has mixed well with the curds switch of the gas, serve hot garnished with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
1 loaf - bread
2 cups - thick curds (preferably little sour)
2 tbsp - gram flour
3 cups - water
3 tbsp - oil for tempering
1 tsp - cumin seeds
1 tsp - mustard seeds
� tsp - asafoetida powder
5 - green chillies (slit)
8 to 10 - curry leaves
� tsp - turmeric powder
2 tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste
