Palak Kebabs

  1. Wash the spinach leaves and remove the stalks.
  2. Chop finely. In a kadai, heat oil.
  3. Add cumin seeds and spinach leaves, saute for a few minutes and remove from fire. Grind to a fine paste.
  4. In a bowl add the spinach paste and rest of the ingredients, make a firm dough.
  5. If necessary, add a little more rice flour or corn flour.
  6. Prepare lemon sized balls and roll over bread crumbs, you can shape it into cones too.
  7. Deep fry till golden brown.
1 bunch - spinach leaves
6 - bread slices (soak and squeeze out water)
1 tsp - cumin seeds
1 - onion (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp - chilly powder
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
a few cubes - paneer
1 tsp - lime juice
1 tbsp - corn flour
2 tbsp - rice flour
oil for frying
salt to taste
