Poli Cha Ladoo

Method
  1. Quarter the polis. Over a large bowl, tear them into shreds, then crush, using your fingers and palms, into a fine powder (or use a blender).
  2. If you like more texture, leave the polis in very small pieces instead.
  3. Add the ghee and mix well. Crush the jaggery into the polis till well combined. Add the peanuts or sesame seeds.
  4. Form the mixture into a bowl, by pressing it into your palms and shaping it with the other.
  5. You may need more jaggery or ghee to bind the ladoos.
  6. Add as much as seems necessary.
  7. Shape all the mixture into ladoos, 1 � inches in diameter.
Ingredients:
4 to 6 - polis
� cup - grated or softened jaggery
2 tbsp - clarified butter
a few - peanuts or sesame seeds (optional)
