Method
  1. Preheat the oven for 425 degrees.
  2. In a Large bowl combine two flours, salt, sugar, baking powder & soda, butter until the mixture is resembles coarse meal.
  3. Mix in all the nuts raisins, 1/4 cup buttermilk with the fork gather into a ball and knead for about 2 mins.
  4. Roll and cut it out into 3/4 inch triangle.
  5. Bake in the center of the oven for 12-15mins until nice and brown.
  6. Serve it with clotted butter, Jam or honey for breakfast or Teatime.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup - all purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup - whole wheat flour
1 tspn - baking powder
1/4 tspn - baking soda
1 tbspn - sugar
1/4 cup - butter (cubed) (room temperature)
1 tbspn - walnut (chopped) & raisins (mixed)
1/4 cup & 2 tbsp - buttermilk
1 tbspn - sugar (to sprinkle on the top)
1/4 tspn - salt
