Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

Method
  1. Sift dry ingredients into bowl, rub in butter and grated cheese, mix to a soft dough with lemon juice.
  2. Shape mixture into a roll 38 cm (15 in) long, wrap in greaseproof paper, then aluminium foil, refrigerate at least three hours.
  3. Cut roll into slices 5 mm (� in) thick, place on greased oven trays.
  4. Bake in moderate oven 15 minutes, until light golden brown.
  5. Cool on trays.

125 g - cheddar cheese
125 g - butter
1 cup - plain flour
2 tbsp - self raising flour
2 tbsp - grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp - lemon juice
1/2 tsp - salt
1/2 tsp - cayenne
