Paneer Cutlets

  1. Soak the bread in water for 20 seconds and squeeze out the water. Crumble the bread.
  2. In a bowl, mash the paneer and mix in the mashed potatoes and the crumbled bread.
  3. Add the cornflour and knead again.
  4. Add the other ingredients and mix well. Check the seasoning.
  5. Shape as desired and refrigerate for 15-20 mins.
  6. Heat oil in a wok and fry till golden brown. Do not fry too many cutlets together.
200 gms. cottage cheese
1 large boiled and mashed potatoes
2 slices with crust removed white bread
2 tbsp. cornflour
1 medium onion chopped
2 deseeded and chopped green chillies
3 tbsp. coriander leaves chopped
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper powder
1 tbsp. lemon juice
salt to taste
oil for deep frying.
