Spaghetti Creole

Method
  1. Fry the ginger, capsicum, onion and garlic.
  2. Cover and cook till onions are transparent.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and sugar.
  4. Cook till tomatoes are pulpy and sauce is thick. Sieve.
  5. Boil spaghetti in salted water till just tender.
  6. Drain and add spaghetti to tomato sauce.
  7. Add the boiled green peas.
  8. Fold in the grated cheese. Serve hot.
Ingredients:
400 g - spaghetti
1 cup - boiled green peas
1 cup - grated cheese
1 kg - chopped tomatoes
2 tbsps - ginger, finely minced
2 - large capsicum, chopped
4 - large onions, finely chopped
6 cloves - garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp - each chilli powder, salt and 1 tsp. sugar
